The training nets will open for business this weekend! After an epic fundraising effort followed by a smooth construction period, members will be able to use our wonderful new facility from Saturday.
The nets can be booked using an online booking system (see link below) and are free for all BSCC members to use, they will also be used during disability and school cricket sessions.
The £70k+ three-lane enclosed practice facility, designed in conjunction with provider Exclusive Leisure, has been made possible thanks to the generosity of grant-giving bodies and the hard work of members, the community and of our fundraising co-ordinator Carolyn Roper.
BSCC Committee member and player Nick Bolt said: “Having our new cricket nets open enhances training opportunities, allowing members to refine their skills in a dedicated space.
This accessibility strengthens team cohesion and supports player development in all sections of the club, ultimately strengthening the foundations of the club for years to come!”
