BSCC Women’s team were the stars of the show at the club’s first ever fashion event last week.
The sell-out event on Thursday saw players from our ladies side modelling a selection of clothes and accessories from popular Exmouth clothes store Caramel to a delighted audience!
Tickets for the show were priced £10 and included a glass of fizz - the evening raised around £1,200 towards improving disability access to the club. All attendees got 10% off purchases at Caramel.
Sarah Simcock, Caramel owner and club member, said: "We were keen to support the club and the excellent work they do in the community- making cricket accessible to those with disabilities and making the facilities available to local schools.
"The evening was a huge success raising much needed funds for the club. It was great to show the wide range of clothes we sell at Caramel to a wider audience. Since the fashion show we have been very busy in the Exmouth shop and in our website with customers keen to update their wardrobe with our autumn collection."
A huge thank you to the models, to the businesses that donated raffle prizes and to Sarah and the team at Caramel for staging the show and helping us raise such a significant amount!
