If you’re looking to re-ignite your love for cricket, or to give it a try in a supportive team setting then our Community League is the place for you!
The BSCC community league is a network of teams made up of friends, colleagues, football teams etc who compete in a series of Sunday/weekday evening matches here at The Holt over the summer culminating in a finals weekend.
The bar is open for all matches, spectators are always welcome and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The league is open to new teams or to players who might want to sign up to existing teams – we can match you with a team suitable for your level of cricket.
League co-ordinator Barry Real said: “The BCL is a super friendly league which provides an opportunity for those who have previously played cricket, want to start playing, improve or are looking to develop from youth to adult cricket.
“The matches are 20 over games played on an artificial wicket with no cricket whites required. The bar is open for all matches and the league culminates in a super Saturday with semi finals and finals played on both pitches. Get in touch and come and play a few games down at the newest cricket ground in East Devon with the best views of the river Otter!”
