Press Release - 29th September 2022; Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club announce that they have been awarded the 2022 ClubMark accreditation. This further underlines the club's commitments to sustainability, and demonstrates through a number of measures, that it is a well run club that provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.

The accreditation also incorporates the "Safe Hands Management System" which helps clubs define and implement robust policies and procedures to meet their safeguarding responsibilities. This system is a key part of obtaining ECB Clubmark accreditation.

The final component of the accreditation also looks at our development plans for the future, together with key governance documents as required under the UK Sport’s Code for Sports Governance. The club's move is at the centre of that plan and outlines the management committee's commitment to delivering a greatly enhanced facility for it's members and community as a result of our relocation to our new ground.
