At the time of going to press (Wednesday, Oct 9) we were £325 short of the £6750 we need to secure match funding from Sport England of the same amount. It would be fantastic if we could reach the target by the end of the day, securing £13,500 towards our latest fundraising project – to create safer access to the club by resurfacing the uneven outside area. As well as improving the appearance of the area and making it more inviting for everyone this work would make access safer for those with mobility issues – we want the club to be welcoming to everyone.
