We’ve got lots happening as we build up to the start of the season….as a starter for ten make sure you’ve got the club “Get Set” weekend in your diaries (This Saturday 5th April 10am) – we need your help to get the club ready for the season!!

Cricket
We are set for a fantastic season inside the ropes, fielding three senior league teams packed with young talent and fresh faces. Each team is targeting promotion.

Our ladies' section continues to thrive under the leadership of Liz Burgess, with two league teams and an ever-growing membership. If you or someone you know is interested in joining, get in touch with Liz! ladies@budleighcc.co.uk for more info.

Our juniors section remains strong, with 11 teams—including two dedicated girls' teams—competing across Devon. Will they continue their impressive cup and league runs? Come up and support the young Otters!

Disability cricket continues to flourish at BSCC. We're excited to be hosting the Super Ones County Pairs competition in August, and our weekly table cricket sessions continue for local charities supporting adults with complex needs - alongside four cricket festivals for children with special educational needs.

As we expand access to cricket, we’ll also welcome children from over 20 schools to festivals at The Holt this summer.

Finaly (as if everything above wasn’t enough!!) we’re also launching Walking Cricket – anyone aged 50+ of any ability can get involved…Thursday at 10.30am from the 24th April…come along and give it a try!

The Holt
Exciting improvements are underway! The new accessible patio, set for completion in early April, will transform the clubhouse, making it a welcoming space for all. This, alongside our new net facilities, was made possible by your incredible fundraising efforts—thank you!

Our new General Manager, Ashley, has been in post for five months and has been working tirelessly to enhance the club experience. He and Chef Joe have developed a fantastic menu, so come up and enjoy some great food!

We have a packed events schedule, from comedy nights to bingo, band nights, and the return of our legendary Friday Night Socials from 18th April, with live music, both bars open, and a buzzing atmosphere!
