We URGENTLY require more volunteers. The club currently have the below roles available for members to get involved. Please dont just assume someone ese will do it – if you can help please let any member of the BSCC Committee know.

Club Transition Manager – The most important vacancy currently. We need a highly organised and motivated individual, ideally with experience of fundraising and similar projects, to help manage the transition to the new club. This volunteer role will report directly to the BSCC Executive Committee and involve overseeing the relocation out of Ottermouth. This role will also include the management and oversight of a bid team to manage applications for further funding from various bodies over the course of the next 12-18 months. The role is temporary up until the end of 2023.

Membership Secretary – 2-3 hours per week (Beginning of season only). To manage the membership subscriptions across junior, senior, ladies and social memberships. Will need to use Membership Management application (Pitchero)

Sponsorship Secretary – 2-3 hours per week (beginning of season only), 1 hour per week (rest of season). To renew and onboard new sponsorship partners into the club. Ideally someone with business/community links to the local community, who doesnt take no for an answer!

Press Officer – 1 hour per week. To compile results and submit 1 article per week to local press. Ideal for budding journalist and or someone looking to help publicise the club

Social Media Lead – Linked to Press Officer – could be done as part of same role. Further 1 hour per week. To manage Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds with announcements, club news, and events.
